How to use the chapter soundtracks
In many chapters you will see a small YouTube player in the top right corner of the page. That video is not an ad. It is the soundtrack for that chapter.
I write and use music with the story so that reading feels less like looking at a flat page and more like stepping into a room. The music is there to hold the mood of the scene, help you settle in, and quietly sit in the background while you read.
You never have to use it. The books are written to stand on their own. But if you enjoy reading with sound, each track is made to loop, match the tone of the chapter, and stay out of the way of the words.
Where to find the music
On each chapter page you will see a small YouTube video box near the top Right Corner.
You do not need to watch the video itself. The image is just a still frame. All you need to do is press play and let the audio run while you read.
How to use it while you read
A simple way to use the music:
Find the YouTube player in the top right of the chapter page.
Press play before you start reading.
Adjust the volume so the music feels soft, like background light.
Start reading the chapter once the music begins.
Most of the tracks are built to loop, so if you read slower or faster than average, the music can keep going until you are done.
You can use speakers or headphones, keep your screen still, or scroll down as you normally would. You do not need to look at the video again once the sound is playing.
Do I need the music?
No. The story always comes first.
You can:
Read in silence.
Use music for some chapters and not others.
Turn it off if you find it distracting that day.
Think of the soundtrack as an extra layer you can turn on when you want the world to feel a little closer, not as a requirement to understand what is happening.
If you missed it the first time
If you read a chapter and did not realize there was music, you are not alone. The player can be easy to skip over. If you would like to try it, you can always go back to a chapter, press play in the top right, and re-read a scene with the soundtrack running under it.
