About the Author
Nicholas Williamson
Nicholas Williamson writes under the pen name N.W. Pathling. He is the creator of the Crossroads series-a fantasy world where two literal roads, Faith and Fate, meet in a small valley tended by a humble baker-turned-Pathfinder.
The Pathfinder's Crumb project began as simple idea: that a story could feel like a table you could pull up to. Not a spectacle. Not an escape hatch. Just a warm place in a hard season. A loaf split in half. A mug set down. Two people choosing, for a moment, to speak honestly.
From there it grew the way real things grow. One small road at a time.
It is, at it's heart, a crossroads. A mill turning somewhere nearby. An oven that never quite goes cold. Lanterns in the window when weather comes in. People arriving with questions they won't say out load at first. People leaving a little lighter than they were.
Pathfinder's Crumb is a world built around a old practice that still works: break bread, and you make room for conversation. Share the light, and you make room for each other.

Common Questions
Why the pen name?
Some stories ask for a certain kind of voice. N.W. Pathing is that voice. For press and professional contexts, I'm happy to be Nicholas Williamson-but the work belongs to the name it was written under.
Why is it free to read?
The core story is free because the project is built for accessibility first. Readers who want to support the work can do so through optional purchases and future print editions, but the primary experience remains open.
Is there a physical book?
Currently we are in development of physical books and e-books.
Can I quote form the books?
Yes, for reviews, articles, and editorial coverage. Please include attribution to the book title and author (Nicholas Williamson, writing as N.W. Pathling).
