The Crossroads

The intersection where the roads of Faith and Fate meet. A small winter valley with a village, a bakehouse, and a long history of keeping the roads open for travelers. The heart of the Crossroads Era stories.

Faith Road
Road · North-South
The road that runs north to south through the valley. It is said to be the older of the two roads, though no one remembers who built it or why it carries the name if does.

Fate Road
Road · East-West
The road that runs east to west, crossing Faith at the center of the valley. Travelers say it feels different underfoot-though whether that difference is real or imagined depends on who you ask.

The Bakehouse
Building · The Crossroads
Crumb's bakery, situated at the Crossroads. A place of flour, warmth, and quite welcome. After Crumb's death, the village renamed it "Pathfinder's Crumb" in his honor.

Brookfell
Village · East
A neighboring village to the east, connected to the Crossroads by the Fate Road. Relations between the two communities are complicated.
